  Puerto del Carmen was the original reorst of Lanzarote and is still the largest. The Avenida, known locally as The Strip runs for 6km along the front with golden sandy beaches on one side and shops and restaurants on the other. This is the closest reorst to the airport and now has a golf course on the outskirts towards Tedas. The old harbour area is popular for eating and drinking and Centro Atlantico is the hot spot for nightclubs.

  Fantastic restaurant, not cheap, but food to die for.Fantastically friendly staff. Highly recommended.
